DX6508 is a DMX512 wireless receiver/transmitter system effectively transmits DMX512 protocol via a wireless connection. This wireless solution resolves the challenges associated with transmitting lighting control signals wirelessly between the console, various lighting fixtures, and other components. By eliminating the need for physical cables, this device provides a comprehensive solution. DX6508 receiver/transmitter ensures that the transmission of signal data occurs without any noticeable time delays. The data is transmitted in real-time and reliably, guaranteeing the integrity of the communication. This product operates on the 2.4G ISM frequency band, which is globally open and does not require any specific permissions. It incorporates a highly efficient GFSK modulation and communication design, enabling automatic channel hopping across 126 channels. This design enhances the device’s resistance to interference, ensuring reliable signal transmission.

The system has 7 unique wireless channels/groups which are user selectable before use. Each unique
channel is achieved by selecting the desired LED colour. This allows upto 7 unique networks, each with a
unique individual wireless code to prevent interference of multiple networks on the same site or region.

Set the desired ID (indicated by LED colour during selection) by using the channel key on board the
receiver and transmitter. The LEd colours representing the unique channels are as follows:

1：RED
2：GREEN
3：RED+GREED
4：BLUE
5：RED+BLUE
6：GREEN+BLUE
7：RED+GREED+BLUE

Ensure the desired Transmitter and all corresponding receiver units are correctly set to the same shared
ID Channel as per above.

After selecting the ID colour, the indicator LED will revert back to the below patterns to indicate its
current working status, and to indicate if there is successful wireless communication established:

● RED LED Static Constant：No DMX or Wireless signal.
● Red LED Regular Flash： Indcates successful wireless signal transmitting.
● Green LED Regular Flash：Indcates successful wireless signal receiving .

Connectivity and Polarity for DMX512 connection:

DX6508 is supplied with round XLR connectors for DMX connection.

For outdoor installations it is necessary to cut or remove the existing XLR connectors and make a suitable
hard wired DMX connection using appropriate sealed junction box. The inner wiring colours/ DMX
polarity is as follows:

• DMX A (DMX +) = WHITE
• DMX B (DMX -) = RED
• DMX GND = BLACK
